     At House of Shakti, we not only focus on the healing powers of gemstones and crystals, but also the empowerment of women.

     My heart fills with joy when I hear that we’ve inspired our customers. Reading their emails and notes expressing how House Of Shakti has inspired them even in simplest of ways makes me so happy. With that in mind I decided to honor women that have inspired me with gifts from House of Shakti. I have always loved and appreciated the teachings of Maya Angelou, Louise Hay, and Iyanla Vazant and well as the entrepreneurial drive of Sara Blakely. These four amazing women have touched me through their words and work and as an example of how to live inspired and empowered lives. They embody the divine Shakti energy that has the ability to touch so many people .  Seeing them succeed in following their path has helped me persevere on my path.

     I put a lot of thought into selecting what I felt to be the perfect pieces out of our collections for each of them. Here’s what I chose:

Power Within Scarf Necklace for the legendary Renaissance women and one of my favorite poets of all time, Dr. Maya Angelou.

I also sent the same piece (Power Within Scarf Necklace) to Iyanla Vanzant, a great inspirational speaker and author.  Her book, “Peace from Broken Pieces”, that I read during my time in India helped me immensely..

This Loving Wisdom Shower Necklace was sent to Louise L. Hay, motivational speaker and founder of Hay House publishing company. Her office sent acknowledgment to us saying that she accepts the gift with an open heart and she sent along this blessing:

“Every day just doing what we lovingly do brings us all closer together.” 

Finally, I sent this Creative Spark Scarf Necklace to Sara Blakely. Sara is the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire who founded the billion dollar undergarment company called Spanx.

     Much respect to these powerful women that I look up to. I am so blessed that I get to honor them by giving them something from my heart as they deserve it.  When the day came that I opened my mailbox to find a “thank you” note from Dr. Maya Angelou, it simply was one of the happiest moments of my career.
